FAQ

How Long Does Printing Take?

Most orders are printed and sent within 2-3 working days.

Larger, trade or white-label orders may take slightly longer depending on quantity and finishing. If you have a deadline, contact us before ordering and we'll advise.

What Sizes Do You Offer?

We currently print in the following sizes

A6, A5, A4, A3, A2.

Mini prints are also available in 3x4 inches, ideal for bundles, gifts and market stalls.

What is the Difference Between Giclée and Lustre printing?

Giclée printing uses archival pigment inks on fine art papers.

It’s best for:

  • Artwork
  • Gallery prints
  • Premium photography
  • Collectors and exhibitions

Lustre printing is a photographic paper with a subtle sheen.

It’s best for:

  • Posters
  • Vibrant photography
  • Graphic designs
  • Affordable wall art

If you’re unsure, lustre is the safest all-round choice.

What Paper Should I Choose?

Each paper offers a different look and feel. Here’s a simple guide:

Canon Pro Lustre (LU-101)

This paper has a slight sheen, low glare, strong colour and contrast. It's best for everyday prints, posters, and photography and is also our most affordable option

Hahnemühle Photo Rag (308gsm)

Our most popular fine art paper, smooth, matte cotton paper with a soft, elegant finish. Works best for premium photography and fine art.

Hahnemühle German Etching (310gsm)

A Textured fine art paper, ideal for painterly images, illustrations, and moody landscapes and images that have depth and character.

Are your prints archival?

All of our prints are produced using archival pigment inks.

We offer both:

Fine art archival papers

Professional photographic papers

Each paper type has different characteristics and intended uses.

Which papers are archival?

Our fine art giclée papers are archival and designed for long-term display when cared for correctly. These include:

Hahnemühle Photo Rag (308gsm)

Hahnemühle German Etching (310gsm)

These papers are acid-free, lignin-free, and widely used in galleries and exhibitions.

What about Canon Pro Lustre?

Canon Pro Lustre is a high-quality professional photographic paper.

It:

• Produces vibrant colours and strong contrast

• Has a subtle sheen and low glare

• Is ideal for posters, photography, and everyday wall art

While it is durable and long-lasting, it is not classified as a fine art archival paper in the same way as cotton rag papers.

How long will my print last?

Print longevity depends on:

• Paper choice

• Display conditions

• Exposure to light, heat, and humidity

All prints will last significantly longer when:

• Displayed out of direct sunlight

• Framed behind glass

• Kept away from moisture and heat

Even archival materials can fade or deteriorate if not displayed correctly.
